Writing Assistance

Tasfil has a large network of professional freelance ghostwriters and editors with whom we’ve built trusting relationships. We will share portfolios and writing samples from those we think would fit with your subject matter and budget, and arrange interviews if necessary, to find the one you feel most comfortable working with.

• Ghostwriters will interview you for your content, and then write your book for you. Their fees range from $15,000 to $60,000 depending on their experience. At the top end are those who have written New York Times bestsellers.
• Developmental Editors will help you transform an unpublishable written draft into a well-developed manuscript ready for publishing. They will show you how to repair problematic prose, guide you through fleshing out thin content as well as thinning out overly dense or verbose areas, and otherwise provide instruction and input on how to complete your book and ensure it is well-written. Price will be determined after the editor has a chance to preview a sample of the material.
• Author coaches will guide, provide feedback, and encourage you as you write your book. Prices range from $7,500 to $10,000.
• Book Doctors will take the bits and pieces you’ve written, the notes or blog posts you’ve compiled, the research and other data you’ve collected and put it all together into a cohesive book. Price will be determined after the book doctor has a chance to preview the material.

Marketing and Publicity

Tasfil partners with a few book marketing and publicity agencies whose services run the gamut of what is possible: podcast placements, blog posts, website building and managing, social media campaigns, magazine articles, television and radio interviews, etc. Prices start at $3,500 a month with a three-month minimum guarantee and go up from there, depending on the author’s goals and budget.

Audiobooks

Audiobook production can be secured after the manuscript is complete. Most authors prefer to bring out the audiobook two to three months after the print and ebook versions come on the market. We work with Full Well Media, one of the best available, for the production of our authors’ audiobooks. Prices start at $6,000 and go up from there, depending on the author’s objectives.
